Chris Hale, a quarter-finalist in the 2016 MasterChef, will be carrying out a demonstration in our kitchen at the Craft and Food Festival during the August bank holiday.
Chris Hale was born in Carlisle and now resides in Yorkshire. He uses locally sourced, quality British produce when cooking and enjoys elevating these humble ingredients into great, mouth-watering dishes.
As a recent MasterChef quarterfinalist, he made a splash in the national newspapers with his innovative cooking from Indian sushi to chocolate soil. Since then, he has been refining his skills working with Michelin star chefs in Cannes, London and Scotland.
Chris is now bringing his innovative dishes to the general public, through “Pop Up North.” Chris Hale set up “Pop Up North” to provide pop up restaurants across the UK, catering for events internationally and also creating unique private dining experiences for people in their own homes.
Chris is very excited to have been approached to launch his own cooking programme across MADE TV which will launch in late Spring. The programme will focus on quality British produce from local suppliers with easy to recreate dishes within the home for any occasion.
His infectious enthusiasm for food comes across through his exciting dishes and his unique and fun plating style.
Chris Hale’s cooking demonstrations will be held on:
Sunday – 11:00, 13:00, 15:00
