We are so sorry to announce that the Sherburn in Elmet Craft and Food Festival 2020 will have to be cancelled, until 2021.

Clearly this was not a course of action we wanted to take, but following the new government measures announced this week – and in times of such unprecedented uncertainty – this is now our only viable option.

We very much hope that the situation will have improve quite soon.

However, even if it does, we are no longer able to spend the next few months planning the infrastructure, paying deposits for artists and attractions needed for this all to be in vain.

We would like to send our sincere apologies to many people who have already paid for a Festival 2020 ticket, paid for stalls etc... Those who have already purchased a ticket will get a full refund and we are currently working through the names and details to ensure this happens.

There will also inevitably be more financial implications as a result of this cancellation – not just for us, but also the Festival’s partners, suppliers, traders and most of all our local community. We have removed all stall booking forms and ticket purchase areas from our website currently to ensure that we do not take any further payments.

We must look forward to welcoming you all for 2021 with a bigger and better Festival. Again, we’re so sorry that this decision has been made.

It was not through choice. But we look forward to welcoming you back to Eversley Park next year and thank you for your continued support.
